If you’ve never been to a football game in New Orleans, perhaps it’s time to go to one. Two upcoming events are well worth a trip to New Orleans: the New Orleans Bowl and the Sugar Bowl. These are popular events, so we recommend you find a New Orleans Bed and Breakfast soon.
The New Orleans Bowl takes place December 17, 2011, at 8 p.m. in New Orleans. Be there if you can. Come support the Sun Belt Champion, and enjoy all New Orleans has to offer while you’re here.
The Allstate Sugar Bowl takes place January 3, 2012, at 7:30 p.m. It’s a fabulous excuse for football fans to spend New Year’s Eve in New Orleans. Arrive in time to see Baby Bacchus drop from the Jax Brewery, then linger until game day. This schedule allows plenty of time to explore New Orleans clubs and restaurants.
Football fans would do well to secure lodging in New Orleans Bed and Breakfasts. This is especially true for fans whose spouses are not big football fans. If your spouse is happy, the whole experience will be that much better.
