Kick off Oktoberfest in style at the 2016 NOLA On Tap Beer Fest and sample from over 400 different beers: regional, national, and even homebrews. Saturday, September 24, 2016!
The 7th Annual NOLA on Tap Beer Fest is coming up and is expected to draw more than 25,000 attendees. And why not? NOLA on Tap features hundreds of locally and nationally brewed beers to taste, live music to groove to, and lots of delicious food. NOLA On Tap also features contests, games, and giveaways.
400+ beers is a lot of variety! All but the most seasoned craft-beer explorers will be unfamiliar with the wide range of flavors and styles that will be available. What to drink? Where to start? Fear not! The experts in the “Ask the Beer Guru” tent can answer any and all of your beer questions.
This popular, if fairly new, New Orleans beer festival has a history as the largest fundraiser for the Louisiana SPCA. So enjoy yourself, knowing that the proceeds are going towards a good cause. And, yeah: go ahead, leash up your pooch and bring her along!
This year’s festival will also be the first in the state to use cashless payment technology wristbands. Instead of having to carry around and pull out lots of cash, simply strap on the activated wristband and – voila! Just a tap is all it takes, making your experience at the festival more seamless and hassle-free.
NOLA on Tap will be held at City Park’s Festival Grounds. This beautiful spot offers plenty of space and oak tree shade to stretch out in while enjoying the music and beers. Feel free to bring blankets and lawn chairs, too!
Not a beer fan? Not a problem! NOLA On Tap also offers water, soft drinks, wine, and margaritas, too.
