New Orleans Seafood Festival

Indulge in a plate of calamari during the New Orleans Seafood Festival.

Mmmm, good food. That’s what you’ll find during the New Orleans Seafood Festival, which takes place this weekend, September 10 – 12, 2010. Your tastebuds will start salivating before you even get to Lafayette Square in downtown New Orleans, for the fragrance of barbecued oysters, fried calamari, and sautéed crawfish will fill the air.

The Seafood Festival starts Friday, September 10, at 4pm. From that point on, Lafayette Square will be filled with live music, celebrity chef cooking demonstrations, local arts and crafts, and of course, tasty New Orleans food from the finest local restaurants and caterers.

If this will be your first trip to the city and your first stay at a bed and breakfast New Orleans, it’s a great opportunity to sample food from a wide variety of restaurants. Read on for an incomplete list of restaurants participating in the 2010 Seafood Festival:
