Bayou St. John Bed & Breakfast Description
Bayou St. John Bed and Breakfast is a 150 year old Victorian home located on historic Bayou St. John (in the beautiful Faubourg St. John). Guests are within walking distance of City Park, the Botanical Gardens, the New Orleans Museum of Art, the Fairgrounds Racetrack (home of Jazz Fest and the second oldest racetrack in America), several of the city's most popular restaurants (Lola's, Gabrielle, Cafe Degas) and the Canal St. Streetcar line. New Orleans's most famous attraction, the French Quarter / Vieux Carre is a short car or Streetcar ride away. We feature two rooms. The beautiful French blue Laplace Room features a king-size bed and antique furniture; it opens onto the front gallery overlooking the bayou. The sunny Chinese yellow Villeneuve Room features a queen-size bed and opens onto a patio which overloooks the bayou. Both rooms feature a private entrance, private modern full bath, Television, and individually controlled heat and cooling.
