We are one block from Carrollton Avenue which is a main thoroughfare. This avenue is located on the street car line and offers direct access to many amenities. St. Charles Avenue, a famous avenue and street car line, is one such amenity. As you travel on this line, you’ll find two historic universities: Tulane and Loyola. They are only ten minutes away from Chez Ellie- Marie which makes our bed and breakfast a great choice for visiting parents. Xavier University of Louisiana, another historic university, is also in the area.
