Sully Mansion Bed & Breakfast Description
Sully Mansion Boutique Inn, was designed by renowned architect Thomas Sully (1855-1937) in 1890 for the Rayne Family. Thomas Sully, along with James Feret, formed the first architectural firm of New Orleans and is credited with shaping much of the unique architectural look of Uptown New Orleans. The Sully Mansion has recently been renovated to add an updated mid century touch to the already outstanding house.

Our first trip was in August to drop our son and niece off at school. We enjoyed our stay at Sully so much that we quickly booked rooms for Parents' Weekend. Guy, Nancy and Gracie clearly want you to enjoy your stay at their home and your time in New Orleans. Imagining the history of the house had me mesmerized both weekends. The rooms are opulent, yet comfortable. Located on the streetcar line, the house was convenient to everywhere we wanted to go. We thoroughly enjoyed the breakfasts that Guy and Nancy prepared as well as the languid conversation over drinks on the porch. We'll be back....

I would like to thank the owners (innkeepers) of the bed and breakfast for their true southern hospitality. Myself, along with my teenage daughter traveled to New Orleans to attend a Miley Cyrus concert, this being a big wish of hers. Being so important to her, obviously made it very important to me. Our experience with Sully's Mansion Bed and Breakfast was exceptional! From the time Mr. Guy and Mrs. Nancy greeted us upon arrival, to our clean and comfortable room we were in awe. The homemade pastry breakfast, along with the warm conversations with our hosts made our trip a true southern delight! We look forward to staying at Sully's on our next New Orleans adventure.

The Sully Mansion is an exceptional jewelgreat location, beautiful antique furnishings, gourmet breakfast, plus over-the-top hospitality. We loved everything about it and will definitely stay there next time we are in New Orleans. Guy and Nancy Fournier went out of their way, repeatedly, to ensure we had a great stay. Amenities included the most comfortable bed ever away from home, a serene ambiance, work of local artists on the public area walls, a porch to hang out, talk and read amid beautiful gardens and shade trees. Quiet, out of the way, yet one block from the St. Charles Ave streetcar with easy access to downtown, Tulane, the zoo, and French Quarter. Ample street parking, and amazing breakfasts! Oozing charm and grace of the Garden District and New Orleans.

First of all Nancy and Guy (Gee) were the most gracious hosts.Pretty cool folks I may add.I was down for the Jazz and Heritage festival.Every restaurant recommendation they made they nailed it.They even made some reservations for us.As for Sully Mansion it was abeautiful well kept clean B&B located in the very beautiful garden district of New Orleans a block or so from Lafeyette Cemetary.Safe parking, centrally located to many clubs and restaurants and roughly 15-20 mins. to the French Quarter. It was my first time to New Orleans with many more visits hopefuuly to come.I will always plan to stay at Sully Mansion. If you don't go , you will truly miss out on some good old fashion southern hospitality.

This inn is so convenient - just a block from the streetcar line in the Garden District. It was so easy to park the car and ride streetcars to the French Quarter and the Warehouse District. We didn't drive the car for 2 days! The breakfasts were fantastic. There was a variety of breads and fruit and yogurt and then the main course. The Stuffed French Toast was fantastic - the best we've had. Hospitality was great also.
